The Bagpipers at Historic Trinity's Freedom Festival

Freedom Festival

We are blessed to live in a land of freedom and, especially, blessed to be placed on the border of two great countries - the United States of America and Canada. On Sunday, June 28, 2009, special worship services were held at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at Historic Trinity celebrating the friendship between Detroit and Windsor. The St. Andrew's Society Pipe Band (bagpipes and drums) performed during these services. We were inspired by the performance of "Amazing Grace" by the bagpipes, drums, and organ. The Rev. Dr. David Eberhard preached, and he was assisted by the Cathedral Pastors of Historic Trinity.
