Rev. Darryl Andrzejewski
Rev. Darryl L. Andrzejewski was born and raised in Detroit, MI, the son of Norbert and Marion Andrzejewski. He was baptized into the faith at Calvary Lutheran in Detroit, but was raised at The Lutheran Church of the Epiphany in Detroit under the pastorate of Rev. Richard Bernthal. He attended Grayling Elementary and Nolan Jr. High in Detroit before finishing his junior high years at St. Paul Lutheran School in Royal Oak. He is a 1984 graduate of Lutheran High East (Harper Woods), a 1989 graduate of Concordia University, Ann Arbor (BA: Sociology/Psychology and Biblical Languages), and a 1993 graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, IN (MDiv: New Testament Exegetical Theology). He is currently working on his doctorate at CTSFW in the disciplines of Teaching and Preaching.
On July 5, 2015 Rev. Andrzejewski accepted the call to become Historic Trinity’s 8th Head Pastor in 165 years. He writes this: "It is only through the strength of the Lord and the prayerful support of the people of Trinity that I could possibly assume the legacy of such amazing shepherds who have gone before me. I am confident that the Lord will bless our time together as we make heaven bigger tomorrow by sharing Jesus on earth today."
On August 16, 2015, Rev. Andrzejewski was installed as the 8th Pastor of Historic Trinity in its 165 years of ministry. His enthusiasm to proclaim the Gospel to all, his passion for the City of Detroit, his experience through many years in the ministry, and his assurance that he has the support of the members of Historic Trinity, all point to an exciting, creative, and bold ministry in downtown Detroit.
