RING IN THE NEW YEAR

A fitting end for the year 2009 is the Downtown Lutheran New Year's Eve Communion Service held at Historic Trinity Lutheran Church. This year, it will be on Thursday, December 31, at 7:00 p.m., there was the special New Year's Eve Service featuring festival settings of the hymns with brass quintet. The Rev. Dr. David Eberhard, Pastor of Historic Trinity Lutheran Church, presented the message. Following the worship service, in the Huegli Auditorium of Otte Hall (free-will offering), there will be refreshments and a Champagne Toast "To the Year 2010".
