Blessing of the Pets One of the most popular Downtown Lutheran Worship Services is "The Blessing of the Pets". This year, it is being held on Sunday, October 5, 2008. There will be the "Blessing of the Pets" in each of the three Worship Services at Historic Trinity. Each pet handler will receive a St. Francis medal. We invite members of police or fire K-9 Corps to bring their dogs to a Service, or any Police Mounted Division to be present. It is hoped to have the Detroit Tiger's baseball team mascot "Paws" present again this year. Be sure to bring your camera.
